Russ Chandler
Executive Vice President / Chief Financial Officer

 

Russ Chandler was named Executive Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer for Comcast-Spectacor on August 23, 2010. Prior to joining Comcast-Spectacor, he spent 18 years with Comcast Corporation.

 

Chandler is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day financial aspects of the company, including financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, and treasury functions. In addition, serves on Comcast-Spectacor’s Office of the Chair, the company’s executive management group.

 

At Comcast, he was heavily involved in the launches of several new networks for Comcast, including PBS Kids Sprout, TV One and Comcast SportsNet Chicago. He also handled sports television rights negotiations for Comcast with both the Philadelphia Flyers and Philadelphia 76ers, as well as the San Francisco Giants, the Oakland A’s, the Portland Trailblazers, the San Jose Sharks and the Washington Capitals.

 

Prior to joining Comcast, he was a staff accountant for Deloitte & Touche from 1988 through 1990.

 

He received a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Boston University School of Management in 1988 and his M.B.A., with honors, from Notre Dame in 1991. He is the father of two young children, son, RJ, and daughter, Elise, and he resides in Mantua, NJ.
