Sanford "Sandy" Lipstein has served as Executive Vice President/Chief Financial Officer since Comcast-Spectacor’s creation in 1996. Prior to his position, Lipstein was Spectacor’s Executive Vice President/Chief Financial Officer for the past eleven years.

Lipstein is responsible for structuring company financing, acquisitions, mergers and dispositions. He participated in structuring the construction and permanent financing for the CoreStates Center (1994) and in the merger between Comcast and Spectacor (1996).

Prior to joining Spectacor, Lipstein was in public accounting for 15 years, the last nine were spent with Grant Thornton, where he was a partner from 1981 to 1985. He received a BS in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and is a certified public accountant.

He serves on the Finance Committee and the Branch Advisory Committees for the Phoenixville Area YMCA, as well as on the Board of Directors of the Valley Forge Chapter of Freedoms Foundation. He is also Board Member and Assistant Treasurer for the Philadelphia Society for Services to Children.

Lipstein resides in Malvern, PA, with his wife, Gail. Together they have three children, Loree, Brian and Julie.
