Riding on the success of his sold out “A Wonder’s Summer Night” Tour, Wonder is expanding his tour to include indoor venues such as the Wachovia Center in this newly created tour called “A Wonder’s Autumn Night.”
Wonder has been wowing the world since he first signed with Motown Records at 12 years old. In this highly anticipated performance, Wonder is expected to perform many of his greatest hits, including “You Are the Sunshine of My Life,” “Signed, Sealed, Delivered, I’m Yours,” “My Cherie Amour,” “Sir Duke,” “Superstition” and many more.
Wonder’s last performance in Philadelphia came at the conclusion of Live 8 in 2005, however this will be a full performance featuring all of Wonder’s treasured classics. Wonder has performed many times in Philadelphia. Perhaps, many will remember his stellar shows in the opening slot for the Rolling Stones at the Spectrum on July 20 and July 21, 1972.
Wonder continues to add to his lifetime of achievements including 22 Grammy Awards, a record for a solo artist, more than 30 Top 10 hits, Academy Award for Best Song (“I Just Called to Say I Love You”), induction into both the Rock ‘n’ Roll and Songwriters halls of fame, Billboard’s Century Award, as well as talents on nearly a dozen instruments.
