| Description: |
Bon Jovi has deep roots in Philadelphia. From early club shows to the recording of the band’s second album, Philadelphia has hosted the band for more than two decades. More recently, Jon Bon Jovi became co-owner of the Philadelphia Soul, the local Arena Football League franchise, whose commitment to community service finds the organization devoting time and money to worthy Philadelphia-based charities and causes.
Bon Jovi’s video single “Who Says You Can’t Go Home” (the country version of which earned Bon Jovi and Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland a 2006 CMT Award for “Best Collaborative Video”) documents houses being built in North Philadelphia, as part of Bon Jovi’s partnership with Habitat for Humanity.
