Wings Game on March 8 POSTPONED Due to Severe Weather Conditions in Canada

WEATHER FORCES WINGS TO POSTPONE GAME AGAINST ROCK AT WACHOVIA CENTER ON MARCH 8;
GAME TO BE RESCHEDULED

Due to severe weather conditions in Toronto, Ontario, the Philadelphia Wings' opponent, the Toronto Rock, are unable to depart Toronto via flights to Philadelphia, forcing the National Lacrosse League to postpone the game featuring the two teams at the Wachovia Center on Saturday, March 8 at 1 p.m., according to team President Russ Cline. The game will be rescheduled at a later date with an announcement of this new date expected on Monday, March 10.

"It's unfortunate that we have to postpone the game," said Cline. "It's virtually impossible for the Rock to arrive in Philadelphia in a timely manner for our scheduled game. We're asking all of our fans to hold onto their tickets as the game will be rescheduled."

Wings fans holding tickets for the postponed game are encouraged to hold on to their tickets as they will be honored on the newly rescheduled date. Fans holding tickets for the postponed game may instead exchange them for any other Wings home game at the Wachovia Center, including Friday, March 14, against the San Jose Stealth, or Saturday, April 19, against the New York Titans.
