Three Global Spectrum-managed venues have been nominated for Facility of the Year during the upcoming Canadian Music Week at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel in Toronto, ON, from Wednesday, March 10 through Sunday, March 14.

The John Labatt Centre, the 10,000-seat home of the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League in London, Ontario, has been nominated as the “Air Canada Centre” Major Facility of the Year for capacities over 8,000. The beautiful, state-of-the-art Global Spectrum-managed facility is competing against the Bell Centre in Montreal; GM Place in Vancouver; MTS Centre in Winnipeg; Northlands Rexall Place in Edmonton; Pengrowth Saddledome in Calgary; ScotiaBank Place in Ottawa; and the Molson Amphitheatre in Toronto.

Both the EnCana Events Centre in Dawson Creek, British Columbia, and the GM Centre in Oshawa, Ontario, have been nominated as the “Air Canada Centre” Major Facility of the Year for facilities under 8,000 seats. These two Global Spectrum-managed venues are competiting against the Brandt Centre in Regina; the CN Centre in Prince George; the Enmax Centre in Lethbridge; The Essar Centre in Sault Ste. Marie; the K-Rock Centre in Kingston; and the Save-On Foods Memorial Centre in Victoria.

“This is a tremendous honor to be recognized by the artists who performed in our venues, the fans who attended the events, and the agents, managers and promoters who bring their acts to our facilities,” said Global Spectrum Chief Operating Officer John Page. “We take a lot of pride in the high-quality service we provide to our customers as well as to the artists, managers and promoters who visit our facilities.”
